Il regista rosetano Flavio Sciolè rappresenta l’Italia alla 23° edizione del Portobello Film Festival che si svolge in questi giorni a Londra.
Due suoi video, infatti, sono stati selezionati per il prestigioso festival inglese. Per l’autore si tratta della 14a partecipazione al festival che gli ha già dedicato retrospettive in passato.
Sciolè è stato selezionato per la sezione ‘Italian, Portuguese, Spanish Films’ ed i suoi corti saranno proiettati il 3 settembre al ‘The Muse Art Gallery’.
I video in concorso sono: ‘Giro Giro Tondo’ e ‘Guarda Dada’, il primo rievoca giochi ancestrali mentre il secondo è un omaggio al dadaismo.
Flavio Sciolè anno 1970, vive a Roseto degli Abruzzi, (Teramo), agisce da circa trenta anni nel cinema sperimentale ed i suoi film sono stati proiettati in tutto il mondo.
Ad aprile ha tenuto un seminario presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti de L’Aquila mentre a giugno è uscito in DVD per la CG Entertainment il film ‘Pianosequenza’ diretto da Louis Nero che vede Sciolè tra i protagonisti (pellicola presentata alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia nel 2004).
Regista di teatro, a fine giugno è uscito per la Holy Edit ‘Del Grottesco’, il suo secondo libro di opere teatrali.
